Artist statement

Soren finds artistic beauty in the language of science. As a scientist, he sees how scientific measurements and results reveal truths and tell us stories about the universe we live in. As an artist, he experiments with telling those stories through visual art.

In his unique SciArt, Soren merges his creativity and free artistic expression with his curiosity and scientific perspective on the natural world. He unites traditional visual art techniques like collage, drawing, painting, and printing with knowledge and information in the form of scientific data, graphs, diagrams, equations and texts.
